6 Million UK Consumers Switch Car Insurance

With some sources claiming that car insurance premiums could increase by up to 10% by the end of the year in the wake of increasing claims, upto 6 million UK consumers are estimated to have switched providers at their last renewal.

In light of current economic conditions it’s possible that this figure could increase significantly as consumers seek out savings across the board to help ease money worries.

These figures represent a significant churn in and already competitive market. It would be interesting to see what role the price comparison engines themselves have played in this.
